Mags and daddy had themselves quite a weekend. It started off Friday night with a movie at the library, "The Great Mouse Detective". These are great cuz they're only $3 per person and that includes unlimited popcorn and red juice. The big bonus is that her tumbling teacher doubles at the popcorn passer-outer! They hit a local restaurant after the movie for dessert. I was brought back about an 8th of a bag of popcorn, and half a chocolate cheesecake. Score for me!
Saturday was uneventful. Mags and I hit Target and then we all went to church. She has a goose-egg on the back of her head where she apparently fell into a bookcase in Sunday School class. If that wasn't bad enough, she stepped on a patch of ice on the way out to the car and bit the dust in the snow. All around, not the greatest trip to church ever.
On Sunday daddy took Maggie to the Disney on Ice, Finding Nemo show. They went to lunch at the "hamburger store" beforehand and then had a great time at the show. They stopped at WalMart on the way home to and we are now the proud owners of the Finding Nemo DVD. Of course we put it in right away and watched the whole thing before dinner.
Both girls got a bath last night. Daddy was getting them dressed and I could hear a lively conversation about where to and where not to put lotion. Daddy was explaining, "Yes, buns are ok, b-jamma's are not." : )
This morning Mags had her last swimming class of the session with Mr. Dan. Next session we move to evenings so one of us can stay home with Maya. I'm starting to feel guilty about leaving her with the neighbors every Monday morning. Today, Becky took Maya and her 2 girls to Music Mondays at the Red Giraffe. Mags and I met them there after swimming. We sang a few songs and then proceeded to play with everything in the store with about 20 other kids under the age of 4. The poor store owners...they probably have to spend the rest of the day cleaning up and putting everything back where it belongs.
