Our trip to Seattle

We had a wonderful week in Seattle. We spent time with both families, saw all the aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, most of the great-grandparents, along with a couple of old friends. The time flew by and the girls were spoiled rotten, but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Waiting in line at the airport.

Maya thought she was the Queen Bee with her very own rolling backpack!

We went to a christian children's concert by Jana Alayra at Grammy and Poppy's church. It was GREAT!!! She sang some very cute songs and did basic sign language with each that all the kids followed along with and tried to do themselves.

The girls even got to go up on the stage during one of the songs!

Poppy had a good time too.

Of course we had to stop at McDonald's for ice cream afterwards with cousins Clara and Owen.

A trip to the Alderwood Mall. They had this really cute play area with a "northwest" theme...seagulls, ferry boat, whales, etc. The kids had a blast climbing and running around.

After playing, we headed over to Build-A-Bear. Mags and Clara got matching Easter lambs.

Playing with Grammy.

We also took a trip to a GREAT children's museum, the Imagine Museum in Everett. It is much smaller than ours in St. Paul, but very hands on and very clever. We'd been there a couple times before, but they had a great time once again.
This exhibit was a vet clinic. Mags is checking out this poor, sick animal.

Dr. Maggie checking the food dish of yet another poor animal.

Pretending to be flying high on a simulated airplane complete with real airplane seats with seatbelts and a real looking cockpit, flight attendants kitchen and cargo hold.
Fire woman Maya!

This was the "Construction Zone". It was really cool. There were all these pieces like the ones you see in the picture that the kids could build into all sorts of things. Some clever kids even built little go-cart like cars that you could sit on.

Clara and Maggie on a mission.
